Each box is carefully packaged to ship with that one-of-a-kind taste & sweetness only found in the iconic DOLE^® Royal Hawaiian^® Tropical Gold Pineapples. This pineapple, unique to Hawaii, is grown year-round — with low acid and high sugar content (brix) the fruit is high in carotene, giving it a bold, yellow-colored flesh. Its strong shell provides good handling and shipping protection for fruit harvested at maximum ripeness.
